Topical areas of interest:

We are making Equity and Engagement a key theme for spring classes, and we encourage all teaching teams to pursue this theme in some way. Instead of giving you a definition and parameters for the topic, we’re excited for you to interpret and apply it to your course in a way that interests you.
For classes and Pop-Outs that could use some extra resources as a way to bring this theme into your courses, we’re very excited to offer our first ever set of grants to support the development and execution of your class. We will make awards in the $1000 – $3000 range. You might choose to use this money for things such as transporting students to a project partner that would be otherwise inaccessible, or to run a prototype at a level of resolution that would be unheard of without extra money, or to incorporate artifacts, people, or learning experiences into your courses that will help you in pursuit of the Equity and Engagement theme, or… you tell us:
Fill out this short proposal to apply for a Teaching and Learning grant that will enable you to bring the theme of Equity and Engagement into your course. We will award amounts in the $1000 – $3000 range for classes (Core, Boost, and Pop Out) being proposed for Spring 2017. Grant proposals are also due by Friday, January 13.
