This class combines Design Thinking with Systems Thinking, with the goal of designing interventions to large scale, complex and systemic challenges.  This class draws from Systems theory, Behavioral Sciences, elements of Diffusion Theory, and Human-centered Design. Tools and theories introduced in class will be used to design large-scale solutions that simultaneously create value on environmental, societal, and economic fronts. This is a team project-based class involving real-world clients. All projects deal with challenges that are all complex and sticky.  You will gain confidence in understanding multi-stakeholder system challenges, applying systems thinking and design thinking together, and designing solutions to bring about scaled transformation.
