Become a Prototyping Rock Star in 60 Minutes

Winter 2016
Wednesday Feb 17, 6:30-9:00pm
Studio 2

Do you have an idea, but you’re not good with design tools or code? What if you have zero budget and are presenting you idea tomorrow?

Get your idea out of your head and into the real world where people can experience it… and help you get to great design faster.

This workshop will show off “wizard-of-oz” techniques to tell a story, pitch an idea, or mock up a product design concept within an hour or two. By using tools like Lookback, Pop, Flinto, Marvel, Skala, Live View, Keynote, AI or Sketch, we will show how to take an idea from concept to prototype in 60 minutes or less, and project it on the appropriate screen. We will show students some examples across wearables, TV, phone, and other IoT devices.
